14/03/2024 – From March 12 to 21, the men’s and women’s sections of the American Cup 2024 take place in St. Louis (USA), in a tournament with the now fashionable “double elimination” format. In this cup system, participants first play a first leg at 90’+30” followed by a fast 15’+10” game. The following day, the return match follows the same pattern. If the players are tied, a playoff consisting of a 3’+2” blitz determines the winner. If there is still a tie, another blitz match is played until a decisive result is reached. The losers then play in the consolation round, where the return matches each consist of two fast 15’+10” games.
