07/06/2024 – From May 30 to June 09, Chartres once again hosts the Top 16, the highest national division of the French Club Championship. In the first phase, the 16 teams are divided into 2 groups (A & B) of 8. In each group, all the teams meet, playing 7 matches. At the end of this phase, the teams finishing in the top 4 places in each group advance to the Poule Haute. The remaining 4 teams in each group are grouped together in the Poule Basse. In the Poule Haute, teams from Group A play teams from Group B, i.e. 4 matches. All teams in the Upper Pool remain in the Top 16. The winning team is declared French Club Champion. In the Lower Pool, as in the Upper Pool, teams from Group A play teams from Group B (4 matches). Teams finishing in the top 4 places in the lower pool are guaranteed a place in the Top 16; the other 4 teams are relegated to the lower division. The round begins at 2:15 p.m., with the sur live commentary. The cadence is 90’+30′ +30”.
